My wife liked the chain, it arrived and is what it is supposed to be. Much better than something orderd from another source that had an ad which came up when I searched for gold chain at Amazon. What was shipped there was NOT what was ordered, in fact, what was received from the other company was not even found on their web site. I liked it, decided to keep it, tried again to get what I wanted. Received another the same as the first. Gave up on them, kept both. Haven't had that problem before, with Amazon, I get what I order. But I will be thinking about that with any future purchases.

14k Yellow Gold .8mm Box Chain Necklace, 24"

The price I got is excellent and product quality/finishing superb...its always been a pleasure shopping with amazon.


This is the first time I ordered this product however, I have purchased several pieces of jewelry from Amazon and have been very pleased with the quality of the items. When I ordered this necklace I needed to replace one that broke and the jewelry stores wanted over $150.00 for a chain at this length. I bought this and was so pleased with the price and quality that I have ordered another for my daughter-in-law who was also looking for a new chain and wanted this length also. With the price of gold so high these days this was a great deal!! The only down side is that with a jeweler you get warranties and at some jewelers they are lifetime warranties but you have to decide if that is worth spending the extra money for.


Great value on a chain perfect for pendents. I got this to use in the winter months to go over heavy sweaters and turtlenecks. It works great and now I can be stylish even in the middle of winter.


I bought this chain for my mother for Christmas and she was very pleased. The chain, however, has a very small, delicate box chain design. It looks like it would easily kink if care is not taken with it. I would not use this chain to support a heavy pendant, for example.

It glows in the light in a lovely way that speaks to it being 14k Gold. The box and small bag the chain comes in makes for a nice presentation.




I had earlier gotten one of the ruby devil necklaces that are advertised here on Amazon. I think the chain was just 16", and I have a somewhat thick neck, so I decided on getting a longer chain. I bought a gold on silver chain, but the clasp was too big to fit the pendant on. So the pendant sat in my jewellery box for about a year, until I got this chain. It is a bit more substantial than the original chain, and my pendant looks just beautiful! I am very happy with this chain, although it is delicate.

14k Yellow Gold .8mm Box Chain Necklace, 18"

Very nice chain for the price, light weight but good value for a small pendant


I got this chain to replace the chain that came with a flower pendant that I reviewed. This chain has a nice sparkle to it and, although it is a small chain, it doesn't seem to tangle easily. The clasp is a common spring ring. Just type in Spring ring clasp in Google and you should be able to find a photo if you don't know what that is.


I was looking for a chain for a diamond my husband bought me, the chains that come with a necklace that you buy are so cheap that they break, i was lookinf for a box chain cause they are strong and harder to break The chain i found was perfecit i'am very happy with this chain. and would recomd this chain to any one looking for a box chain.

14k White Gold .8mm Box Chain Necklace, 18"

Bought this item as a replacement for a chain necklace for a pendant I bought for her for Christmas. She loves it and compliments the necklace well.


I ordered this to replace another chain for a dressy pendant, and received it the next day, even with free standard shipping! It is exactly as shown, catches the light, is very comfortable. The clasp turned out to be slightly too big for the pendant, but with a little adjustment, it works fine. This is not a thick chain but it does the job for my smallish pendant.


I recently purchased this necklace. It is stunning, I also purchased a 20" and 30" I wear all three with different pendants. These necklaces catch the light, are comfortable and lies well against my neck.I am so glad I purchased them.


I gave this chain as a present to my best friend. And both of us like it very much!

14k White Gold .8mm Box Chain Necklace, 16"

Nice white gold chain, but closure loop was too big to pass through my pendant, so I had to use pliers to make it an oval to squeeze through the pendant.


I purchased this chain to replace an existing longer thinner chain I received as a gift(black pearl). It was thicker than my original but still dainty enough to look fabulous with my pearl. I checked at Zales and they wanted over $100.00 for a chain similar to this.


This product came & I was very excited. I thought it would be longer then it was. It's okay for little girls but not for adults. Go for the 18"-20" if you are seeking something to fit an adult.


This box chain was exactly what I was looking for. I needed it for a diamond pendant, approximately 1/3 carat, and it looks perfect. Amazon beat a lot of other prices for this same chain!


I bought two of these - one for me and one for my sister. We bought pendants during a trip and needed chains for them. My goal was to get something delicate that wouldn't take away from the pendants and yet strong enough to withstand regular use, without costing a fortune. I have worn this chain several times now and am very pleased. It's lovely and exactly what I was hoping for.

As previous reviews. I wanted a chain for my new pendant and this is just the job !


I needed a replacement chain for a gift bought for my mother-in-law and this chain was perfect. It is well made and just the right weight. It is small enough for just about any pendant, but not too small. The other reviews and the great price made my decision to purchase this item, very easy!


i'm sorry amazon! i always like everything i order from you guys. but this chain looked so cheep and i cannot get it fasten. needless to say ,its just hanging in my jewery box.


I bought this for a pendant I recently bought and was pleasantly happy with my purchase. It's a decent weight to hold the pendant. I wouldn't want a lighter chain. The only issue people might have is that the clasp has a large link (at the clasp) so you would not be able to put on a pendant with a small opening. Very good buy and great for my use.


The chain was more slender than I was expecting, but does its job well. The box chain links displayed on the Amazon page were not visible to the naked eye... needed a magnifying glass. I bought it to display a small gold cross pendant and it is the right length and strength to do so.

14k Yellow Gold .8mm Box Chain Necklace, 16"

I love this necklace! I checked at the local jewelry store for a 16" yellow gold necklace and all they had in stock was a 16" white gold for almost $70. The sales clerk said that the yellow gold one would probably be about $40 more when it came in. I compared other chains on the internet and this one looked to be the best value for the gold content and the length. I was right. It's exactly what I wanted. I've only had it for a couple of days, but just comparing it to my other gold chains I can tell it's definitely worth the money spent.


This is a nice little chain to use with a small pendant or alone if you just want a little something around your neck. It has nice sparkle and seems to be well made.

14k White Gold .8mm Box Chain Necklace, 20"

Liked it very much. In fact I would like to get the shorter one also so depending on the type of clothing I could trade off. Delivered faster than expected.


14k White Gold .8mm Box Chain Necklace, 18" I ordered this item because I already owned a yellow gold box chain that was 0.8mm, and I needed a white gold version. When it arrived I immediately noticed that it was thinner than my .8mm chain. I took it to the jeweler who measured it with 3 different sets of calipers, and this chain is 0.7mm, not 0.8mm. Still, for the price, it is pretty nice. Just want people to know that if you are looking for a 0.8mm box chain, this one comes up a bit on the narrow side.


This chain is absouletly gorgeous! I bought this chain for my daughter to go with a diamond pendant I purchased for her. This chain sparkles in the light like diamonds. I think she will love it! The delivery on this purchase was very fast. Would recommend this chain to family and friends.
